We spent a wonderful weekend in Oregon with Megan and Jeremy and their family - Jeremy's folks came in from Houston and Brigg and Havalah drove over from the Portland area - what a great time we had together. We started Friday night at the first cub scout activity for Hyrum - the Pinewood Derby! Saturday morning started with opening presents for Hyrum's birthday and then to the church for his baptismal service - he had decided who he wanted to give talks, play the piano, lead music, be witnesses - what activity we would do afterwards and where we would eat for dinner that night! So we went bowling for our fun time together Saturday afternoon and ended our evening at Himani Indian Cuisine in Astoria! What a wonderful day we spent together - a few of the many pictures taken are now featured!
Aunt Havalah and her creativity made Hyrum his own Griffindor blanket!
Cousin Luke also had a birthday earlier this week so we celebrated that and he received a great gift from Uncle Jeremy - his own Lightning McQueen car!
At the church ready for the baptism - the ward was very supportive and we were able to meet some wonderful people.
Back at home for some of Megan's "Chocolate Mousse Crunch Cake" birthday cake for Hyrum and Luke
More cousin fun time
Bowling fun
Tried to take a quick picture of Brigg but he was quick enough to return the favor
Forgot to get any pictures at the restaurant but we had a wonderful time there and the whole weekend was fabulous! We love getting together:)
