New grandson - Luke Turner!

Brigg and Havalah brought their new son to Washington this past Friday for the next six weeks, while Brigg has an internship here in town.
The 3 travelers arrive  in Seattle after a long day of flying from Erie PA.

There sure is a lot more luggage with a baby:)
Beautiful boy

Trees part 2

The day after the trees came down the weather was quite nice, as you can tell.  We had some nice timber to work with - hadn't used a splittling maul for some time!
The weather changed on us the very next day to our great surprise!
Besides the water main breaking (see previous blog) we also had a mishap with one of our yard lights!
From another angel -

Icicles a plenty
The "orchard" looked a bit different during these few days
All quiet on this lovely winter's eve
Speaking of snow, we caught this view of Mt. Rainier on our way to the Kent cannery the other day.
The weather finally returned to normal and we had the two tree stumps ground out, which left us lots of sawdust for the back yard.  And the yard has smelled wonderful ever since:)
