Caroling, Caroling

This past Friday night we had our annual caroling party that was started 23 years ago with the Stucki's, Cramer's and Turner's.  Now we often hold the event at the home of the one of the children that walked with us those many years ago!  Megan, Jeremy and their 5 children came up this year and it was great to have them with us - forgot the camera so no pictures of Friday night but Saturday we went to the new Hands-On Children's Museum and had a great time, as you can see.

It was a short weekend but wonderful just the same!  Thanks so much for coming up.

Vincent's Debut

On Friday the 13th (of December) we went down to Hillsboro Oregon to spend a couple of days with Brigg and Havalah and family - the Shakespear's joined us on Saturday!  So fun to have family close:)  We were there for the ward Christmas party Friday night and for Vincent's one and only time to play the Christ-child in the children's Nativity scene - he was great!!  On Saturday evening we planned to attend the zoo-lights at the Portland Zoo but it was so crowded they were turning cars away so we stopped and enjoyed pizza and then we headed our 3 different directions!!
Silly Luke enjoying his dinner
Luke opening his present from us - a new big airplane and airport!

Luke and Vincent had a chance to visit with Santa for a bit
You may not be able to see it but Luke's shirt says:  I don't do mistletoe - Vincent's shirt says:  These cheeks are made for mistletoe!!  Havalah the creative:)
When the Primary children went to the stage, Luke figured that included members of the Nursery!
Masterful performance by Vincent - quiet and serene:)
Saturday morning practicing sitting and playing with new airport

Justin and Dallen treating us to a piano duet
Had a blast down in the church cultural hall

Though it was a short time together we had a wonderful time - thanks all!!

Thanksgiving in Gearhart

We were able to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with the Shakespear's in Oregon and had a wonderful time.  Though several of us had the sniffles we were able to do lots of things, including a walk on the beach on Thanksgiving day itself!  The weather was quite cooperative part of the time and we took several walks in our short-sleeved shirts.  Here are a few of the pictures taken:
Tried to get a picture of each of the grandkids - missed Dallen but put one in from last weekend!
