San Antonio:)

We spent a fun-filled 4 days in San Antonio recently to celebrate Jackson's 3rd birthday and also were able to be at church when Zac blessed our newest grandson Thomas Zachary Turner!  We had a great time - the birthday party was fabulous, we had a great train ride by the zoo, a boat ride along the famous river walk, and lots of fun at home, at nearby parks, and in the neighborhood.

Luke!!

Luke and his sweet mother Havalah recently came to Washington so Havalah could visit with her sister Sierra before she entered the mission field.  We had the opportunity to be with Luke most of the afternoon on Saturday and he even spent the night with us!  We got him bathed and ready for church on Sunday and met his mom at church so he could hear Aunt Sierra speak.  We had a wonderful time with them - also got to take them shopping before they left and had so much fun being together.  Thanks Havalah for sharing him with us - and sorry we didn't even take a picture of you!!

Fun ride down the tube for the cars!
"I think my Dad would like this car!"
"Thanks for the new clothes - but this is too heavy so I guess I'll just drag it around the mall with everyone smiling at me!"
Thanks Havalah and Luke for a great visit:)

Mom T birthday!

Myrna Turner, my dear Mother, recently had a birthday.  My sisters were both planning to go to American Fork for the special day but I wasn't sure.  When I decided I could join them we decided to make my appearance a surprise and it was wonderful.  We had a short time together but we made the most of it, including a beautiful drive around the loop from American Fork canyon into Provo canyon.  Here are a few of the many pictures taken:

At the starting trail for Timp cave - no we didn't climb!
Have to stop at BYU's 9th Street Creamery when in Provo
BYU's Museum of Art has the Carl Bloch painting of the Savior Healing at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:2-9)
What a way to finish to our visit!
