As we've mentioned earlier, we had a wonderful time in Leavenworth WA several days before Marcie's birthday. While there we bought her a wonderful music box, Harry Potter style. We'll try and attach the little video of it so you can enjoy also! (Sorry the video is a bit out of focus) I also bought her a recorder instrument that's she always wanted to play, along with an instructional DVD! She was practicing quite nicely tonight.

I have a feeling this will be the new "Kung Fu" Rat. Too be played over and over when the grandkids (mostly Andrew) visit. I will show him the video when he gets home from school.

I thought for sure we had a couple of recorders lying around left over from elementary school. I never was good enough to play anything but marry had a little lamb. love you guys - good work on the video - love it
Brigg, I have a beginners book to help me learn how to play it. But it's difficult. If you blow it too hard, it changes the pitch, if you change how you hold it in your mouth it changes the pitch. It's a challenge. Those old recorders only have the mouth piece left, they're in the toy box.
Wow - sounds challenging - but then again Pickard had a whole life time to learn... love you mums
