Marcie and the Primary Presidency were in charge of 11 year old day camp today - and 19 boys showed up and had a great time. Since you don't know any of the young men who attended (so those pictures won't mean anything), I decided to include just one picture of people you do know! Love that hot dog:)

Wonderful long weekend!
We spent June 6-7 in Oregon with both of our families there and had a marvelous time. We first met Brigg, Havalah and their two boys at OMSI in downtown Portland for a very fun visit to that fun science museum and had some beautiful vistas of downtown Portland. Meg and Jeremy and family (and a friend of Megan's) joined us later that evening for dinner and then the 3 young women got to bed early in preparation for the 1/2 marathon they ran in Hillsboro the next morning. They all made it and survived quite nicely and were so excited to have met their goal. Later Saturday we drove to the coast to participate in Hyrum's first piano recital, which only lasted 45 minutes and was very nice. At the end of the program, the teacher gave an award to the student who had practiced the most: Hyrum. After dinner with the Shakespear's we drove home to Lacey arriving way too late - but Marcie had a ward conference on Sunday so needed to get home. What a great weekend we shared together.
The beautiful Willamette River and view of downtown Portland
Fun at OMSI
The 1/2 marathon - Amy and Megan with Hava and Luke in the background - can't see Brigg but he's there!
Make this one big so you can see Luke looking back for camera action!
How nice of these 3 to stand in the proper order of their names on the poster!
Happy sisters-in-law:)
Waiting in the dugout for a chance to play?
