Thanksgiving in Gearhart

We were able to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with the Shakespear's in Oregon and had a wonderful time.  Though several of us had the sniffles we were able to do lots of things, including a walk on the beach on Thanksgiving day itself!  The weather was quite cooperative part of the time and we took several walks in our short-sleeved shirts.  Here are a few of the pictures taken:
Tried to get a picture of each of the grandkids - missed Dallen but put one in from last weekend!

November weekend in Gearhart!

We went to Gearhart for the weekend before Thanksgiving to attend church and watch the children's Sacrament meeting program.  Besides being with the Shakespear's, the Hillsboro Turner's came for Friday night and part of Saturday - we had a great time together and love that they are so close.  The weather on Saturday was unbelievable - we went into the hills to see a beautiful waterfall and needed a coat there, but back in town we were out and about in our short-sleeve shirts!  Unheard of on November 23rd.  Here are some of the pictures we took.

Harry Potter Party

Havalah hosted a Harry Potter party at her parents home a week ago - we had an absolute blast!  Here are a few of the pictures taken.
Voldermort and Hermoine (dressed as Bellatrix)
Professor McGonagall and Mad-Eye Moody

Norbert, Hagrid's little dragon, also sports a wand!
Dobby, the house elf, earns the cutest award for the night!

Mt. St. Helens/Gearhart

Several weeks ago we climbed up St. Helens for a while and really enjoyed the hike.  As you can see from the pictures the weather took a nasty turn on us and the visibility was quite limited, but we had a great time. Afterwards Brigg dropped us off at his place and Jeremy and I drove to the Oregon coast where Marcie, Megan and kids were waiting for us - it's so great having children/grandchildren close!
